Right on Clicker. Yep, I was due to fly out of DC to go to Syracuse on the 10th...but opted to make the 14 hr drive instead (mainly because sitting in an airport for hours with small children is about my last idea of fun). The drive was awesome though...beautiful countryside.
Where in upstate were you? I spent most of my time at our family's properties on Skaneateles lake. It's the pointer finger of the finger lakes and the 5th cleanest lake in the nation....100% spring fed...the water is frickin' COLD though, but it's so beautiful!
Then I spent the last few days at the end of the US looking at Canada in the Thousand Islands area at my boyfriend's place on the St. Lawrence River.
