We do ask cardholders to contact their financial institution to obtain the pending authorization within 24 hours of registering their Visa/Master ePassporte because pending authorizations are generally cancelled by financial institutions within 48-72 hours. If your bank, on the other hand, takes 3-5 days to confirm that you?ve received a pending authorization on your card, you may take the time and wait. ePassporte will give you up to 7 days to verify the pending authorization.
