I don't know this...but I think that they tried something new. I think they hyped the movie and did the trailers to make the movie look stupid, but it's going to be a completely different movie than we all think it will be when it comes out.
If they did that, it's genius. If not and it's as stupid as it looks...all this promotion and Sam Jackson putting his name and face all over it will hopefully kill his career.
