At this point I don't buy it. I think this is just a sick bastard looking for attention. If he contacted the mother via email perhaps she provided him with some information inadvertently that was related to the case that no one else knew. He is using that to run this charade.

The guys own EX wife says he was with her in Alabama the night of the murder. The family doesn't know him at all. It just doesn't add up.
