Leftist groups claim the Patriot Act is terrible, but I don't see them providing much evidence of it being abused by the US government. In fact, I have seen 0 proof of it being abused.
I think it's a little early to say exactly what happened regarding those 1000 cell phones. The truth will come out (hopefully).
