I really liked PS 6 and 7, but decided it was easier to use CS2 with OSX (I use Macs almost exclusively). Since I like to work in ImageReady, it is a bit of a pain in the ass when I have to switch to Photoshop for some of the tools, and then back again, but whatever...

BTW, have you used Adobe Bridge yet? Great for batch processing! Easy to learn, makes editing a breeze, and works with Raw images too.
