I took mine down to Samy Camera here in LA a few weeks ago to let them clean one of my cameras and the guy opened up the camera and took a look at the CCD with a magnifier that had some lights built into it. He took
this little blower and blew off the CCD a few times and that was all it took. He said that my CCD didn't need a "wet cleaning" only needed blown off. He also recommended that if you need to change lenses, first turn off the camera to eliminate any static electricity that might suck anything into the camera when you remove the lens and also...hold the camera upside down when removing lenses so nothing can fall into the camera. Just some thoughts for ya'
