seriously... whats the difference? BOTH sides believe they have a better idea of whats better for everyone... whether it is forcing a certain moral view on others... or whether its the belief that not doing so is better. it's still the same argument for either side.
besides, i dont believe in god. i am at least however, intelligent enough to recognize that the very fact that an argument exists means there are at least two sides. for that argument to persist over time, suggests that both sides must be arguable. i am not so arrogant to simply proclaim myself "right" accross the board on complex issues just because i rely on a stupid, simplistic, and mindless mechanisms for easy decision making called "liberalism" or "conservatism". and i would hope that anyone that does, would at least be honest about it with themselves and others, rather than constantly ranting about why they are right about everything and summarily discounting the other arguments completely.
