They are either real stupid or up to some shady activity. If they really were running a business, they would order 1000 phones directly from tracfone and pay $10/piece instead of $20.

No, you misunderstood. They did not buy 3 phone at each wal mart. The article says they bought 80 at one wal-mart, just buying 3 at a time over and over. All they gotta do is drive around one city a couple times a week and make tens of thousands of dollars.
honestly, tracfone is not gonna give me a better price than they give wal-mart. $20 is pretty damn low for a phone, they just found a way to buy retail and still make almost double
