Nothing against Mayor's Money, but this situation was one of the things that held me from signing up and sending traffic. They seem to have awesome sites and in fact one that falls into a niche that I have very high rankings for, but I just don't feel comfortable doing it.
Now I know they've said that everything is safe, but I know that nothing is ever safe from human intervention. I've seen some crazy stuff in my life when it comes to online marketing and affiliates. I've seen affiliate managers create accounts under family member names and siphon sales from other accounts. I've seen affiliate managers move sales from accounts under another managers control to their own accounts. I'm very careful with my traffic and stuff like that worries an affiliate like me.
Now I don't know the situation, but I do read the boards. I do know a lot of people have made some very serious claims. I know these people are not fake nicks or trolls, but long standing members, respected affiliates, former co-workers of his, and paysite owners. I just can't fathom that all of that is some clever rouse to destroy someone's reputation for no reason.
It takes a lot for me not to send a company traffic. You could call me every name in the book and I really don't care as long as you pay me on time and convert. But when it comes down to people stealing money from other people, there are other sponsors out there that I don't have to take that chance with. Would you put your money in a bank that hired a teller who was accused of theft from two other banks?
