:2cents My FUCKING RANT on PROFESSIONALISM, PAYOUTS, JIMTHEFUCKINGFIEND, and BIGGY *PICS*

In any business, you need to be professional in your interactions. Why is it so important?

Because you are fucking there to make money. The people you associate with are there to make money. Money comes from getting shit done. Professionalism is the base code of conduct that everyone agrees to so that they GET THEIR FUCKING WORK DONE AND GET PAID. And then, once the work is FUCKING DONE, that's the time for fucking around and all that shit.

So it was nice to see, entering this business one year ago as an affiliate, that many sponsor programs are run in a completely professional way. AFF comes to mind- responsive support, payouts always on time. They might need a little boost in innovation and some new product, but they've never been lacking in professionalism.

Take the fucking payouts, for instance: Part of being professional is to stick to your agreements. If you put on your website in big clear letters that you send payouts on Wedensdays, for instance, then send the fucking payouts on Wednesday. Not Thursday. Why?- from your point of view there might be a good reason for it (how many times have I heard "we had a problem with our wire"?) and you might think it is inconsequential to your affiliates. Not so! When you don't stick to THE PLAN THAT YOU YOURSELF PUT ON YOUR WEBSITE it fucks up your affiliates' business. Your affiliates might actually want to use the money you are sending, and are expecting you to send it when you say you will. And if you don't stick to the plan, some of your affiliates will notice and will have to take TIME OUT OF THEIR BUSINESS to contact you and say "what the fuck is up with the payout?" The cost is TIME and MONEY, which is especially fucking wierd because you as a program owner set the terms of the arrangement in the first place!

So keep to the fucking arrangement! Especially if you yourself choose to write the terms of the arrangement on your fucking affiliate website! If you can't keep up your end 100% with no slacking, then don't make the fucking promise in the first place!

And that brings me to jimthefuckingfiend and Epic Cash. I deplore the way that they market the program on this board. And I can't stand his offensive persona. BUT: Running a program in a professional way is the #1 thing that defines a program from the affiliate point-of-view. So if they do that will (I do not promote them so I don't know if they do), then I can even get past my own distaste for their techniques and give them ALL DUE RESPECT. Yes, I will bow down and respect jimthefuckingfiend if the program that he works for is ON THE FUCKING BALL.

My last point: If the new enforcement of the 2257 regs and the new secondary producer stuff do indeed drive smaller players out of this business, that presents some nice opportunities for smart programs. One of the best things that a program owner can do right now is to take a look at what he's put out there- what he's promised to affiliates. Then ask: "Am I actually doing- religiously, without exception- what I say I am going to do?"

Therein lies the advantage for a program owner- because one he has understood the implications of this, he can make the claim "WE AS A PROGRAM SUPPORT OUR AFFILIATES 100% AND VOW TO LIVE UP TO OUR PROMISES WITHOUT EXCEPTION"!

...and that is something that anyone who actually wants to accomplish something in this business will respect!

Now to the PICS: The very established and well-respected Biggy has a new site 18 Years Old and a new program Fuck You Cash. This stuff is great for teen traffic- real 18-year-old petite thin hardcore American cuties- and that's exactly what turns on surfers the most in the teen niche:
