Uh... you just described *every* retail store buddy. They all charge ridiculous amounts for accessories like that, if they didn't they most likely couldn't continue to do retail business. CompUSA is one of the few stores that actually carry up-to-date hardware including watercooling computer setups. Also you are really going overkill on the price they charge? CompUSA (courtesy compusa.com) charges $9.99 for a 25 foot cat 5e cable; Bestbuy charges $22.99 for the same cable.
If you want convenience and you need something right then, you go to retail shops. If you want the best bang for your buck, you e-shop. CompUSA has always been one of the better shopping experiences for me though one time I bought a cordless phone from there and look inside the thing to discover that it didn?t have a battery (someone had returned it to the store w/o the battery and they just stuck it back on the shelves). I asked them couldn?t they just get another battery for it and much to my dismay? they didn?t carry batteries for the phones!
