No, what is important is not having the religious right, which controls the republican party, in control of all three branches of government. If that means electing socialists to the senate, then it will be worth it in the long run.

3 years ago the Republicans wanted to force people to invest their social security money in the stock market. What would have happened over the last 3 years had they suceeded? I thought so.
