ICQ seems to be the IM of choice for AWM - I am surprised that more are not using skype, here's why:
- skype has (I think!) limitless space for contacts - no need to delete contacts if addressbook becomes too full
- with skype, you can revert to a p2p voicecall free of charge, anywhere in the world
- The new ICQ emoticons are really irritating! The skype ones are not
- 3 way chats with Skype no problem
- Call Landlines or Cells anywhere in the world with skype for next to nothing
