First off, the halth care system is one of the best in the world. Second, very few of the Cubans are really happy, and yes thousands of them have been tortured.
The Cubans that stand at the events, are there because they give out free food, and beer, and sometimes t-shirts. Other than that, they are not intereted in listening to someone rant for 3 ours when it is 90 degrees, and muggy.
How do I know. I grew up in Cuba, and left when I was 23. My father, a US citizen then claimed me, and I flew to Miami.
