N1 had a lot of bugs but all of em were fixed with the N1m.. a couple of month after I bought it I shipped it of to service to exchange the screen.. they did it for free and I had my phone back within the week.. real fast and good.. so I would bet that most issues they had when releasing the first model will give them experience for their third model.. I definitely trust they'll do a good job!
