No, actually hopefully there won't be a truce. Muhammad himself defined a 'truce' (or 'hudna' in Arabic) as a temporary period in which the Muslims could regroup and re-arm until the advantage was theirs again in which case they would break the hudna and attack.
So, if there is a truce, this particular piece of history will repeat itself again and again until there is not a truce. The only way to solve the problem behind the current violence is to break HizbAllah.
Or, the Jews could fulfil the Muslims wishes and slit their own throats in which case the Muslims can turn their attention fully to the reconquest of al Andalus (Spain), the conquest of Rome and the Islamization of Europe.
Personally, I think the 'stop HizbAllah existing' option is the best one.
