If I find the article again, I'll pm it to you. Right now I just have way too much work on hand to bother with it.

I'm not doubting current PC hardware, but it's one to have a 2GB OS folder, as compared to something that doesn't even really scratch 600mb. Linux is even smaller.

What's worse is having a 2GB OS folder, of an OS that can't maximize the expensive hardware you bought because it wasn't optimized for it. What's the point, right?

Linux is great if you run servers, not if you're designing stuff like I do. They may have a photoshop alternative, but it's still not as thorough, and they still lack a lot of crucial design tools.
