hmmm... so let's just look at the conversation between you (minusonebit) and the ePassporte representative. i'm not sure if you're referring to Keyser Soze & talking to him via ICQ or if you actually called customer service - but either way, let's review (seems like the former):

i don't know about anyone else but this sounds like a threat of some sort, implying that "keyser soze" (the board personality) has a boss that will listen to KK's muscling tactics. more power to you if *that* works, KK.

bottom line is, ePassporte is not a bank, we're not stealing your money or keeping it for ourselves - when we freeze accounts associated with fraudulent behavior - it's to protect *your* money. people seem to forget that ePassporte is not a bank, like the one you walk into with your ID, credit cards, SSN, etc. (assuming you're in the US) and they eventually give you a bank account - they are also FDIC insured. if someone got your password they could wipe oiut your ePassporte account pretty fast (although not your s since it has no money in it.)

ePassporte lets you sign up online and hold your money in an easily accessible place. i'm sorry that the internet is *also* filled with scammers, but if ePassporte suspects fraud wouldn't you rather they pause your account and look into it first?
