I thought this was gonna be a "Should we have a Players Ball in Beirut?" type thread.

I don't think there is as much ignorance and hatred about the US etc in Lebanon etc as the media would have us believe. There are so many immigrants from Lebanon living all over the world that I'm sure most people there have a relative or friend or know someone who has left for greener pastures.

There are however a lot of people who will never leave "home" no matter how bad it is. I think these are some of the ones who are easily swayed to support change by any means neccesary.
