thats one thing that does confuse me on the spot. there are alot of people i am friends with on the boards by their nick, but i dont know their real name. when i meet them, they will introduce themselves with their real name and i'll spend an entire day hanging out with them without knowing their board nick. then once i find out their board nick, i put alot of the pieces together from what was said throughout the day, or they'll say something that reminds me of a nick on the board and i'll say "so your board is ______________" and then i realize who i'm hanging out with. i think generally if you're nice and friendly, almost anyone who goes to shows is going to be receptive to hanging out and getting to know people. the shows have an amazing amount of good, fun, cool people. online is so much more cohesive than the video side of the biz which is tremendously more clicky. online is a little clicky, but not nearly as visible as the video side at the shows.
