people do that to me sometimes, where i don't know them, but they know me and i jsut say hi, and talk to them like anyone else. thats why i go to shows, to get to know everyone in the biz. people know you and your personality so they feel that they know you. for the people you mentioned, they are all the same on the boards as in person, so if someone knows them through the board you pretty much know their genuine personality. i know thats true for me. i like it when people come up to me and introduce themselves to me.
