I'm never read a romance novel... that stuff is trash.
Erotic fiction is a different thing... much of it is well written and interesting.
I think this is a generational issue. Romance novels are porn for older women. Younger girls are more comfortable with sex and with porn and more and more of them will become porn consumers.
