mathew wasn't written until 70 years after Jesus' Death the last book, I beleive Mark was written 200 years later. None of the books were written by an apostle.
The entire thing is a retelling of another's stories. Jesus wasn't technically just a carpenter's son, he was a direct descendant of Kind David. However Jews were persecuted as usual (Aren't they always
