Christians killing Jesus Christ(!) however, is a clear absurdity. There was no christianity before Jesus, and it only spread to the romans much, much later.
But are we not putting too much faith in the notion that that J.C alone "invented" Christianity ?. Many of the principals and philosophies of Christianity are to be found in the teachings of earlier Gnostic groups.
