Probably more effective to go into Damascus and take out Assad. That's another fucktard that needs to go and it would send a clear message to the Iranians that they'll be next up to bat after that.

I've never thought bombing civilians and troops is the best military stretegy in a war. Much better to focus your targeting attention on the leadership and all their wealth assets. You hit the head of the snake hard and furious, and then the rest becomes irrelavent.
