Amp is so insecure and has such a huge inferiority complex that, in order to feel that he is on the same level as someone that he views as being superior to him, he tries to bring that person down to his level by using verbal abuse OR he tries to bring himself up to that persons level by ACTING superior. He's repeated this pattern time and time again.
