I don't like Hezbollah and I despise Islam, but I can see why people join groups like Hezbollah. If your family was killed, if your children were murdered, would you not join any group fighting those who did it if it gave you the chance to get revenge?

These aren't bank robbers, and Israel isn't the police. These are extreme radical terrorists and Israel is their neighbor. And this is sadly a WAR not a bank robbery.
I hate wars. I hate violence. I hate solving issues by blowing up and shooting people. I hate seeing vital infrastructure and homes, businesses in an already impoverished country being turned into rubble. Its all horrible.
I've cried several times seeing the terrified and sullen faces on the Lebanese and Israeli innocent men, women, and children. This is Mankind at his very worst behavior. It's sick. It's sad. It all only propogates more hatred and violence.
But this is the world we live in. There are 6 Billion people here. And as big as this stinking planet is, it's really not that big. Everyone is fighting in one form or another for more money, power, security, resources, etc. So you are bound to have lots of problems and issues arise in the process because a certain percentage will always avoid playing by the rules and get there's in a way that creates antagonism and a response.
15,000 to 30,000 kids worldwide die each day from malnutrition and hunger. That's 6 to 12 Million per year and still you don't see that on the front page of the news or anyone solving that problem.
So we have very real problems on this planet. And its only going to get worse as resources become even more limited, valuable and precious and at the same time the population, good guys and bad guys, continues to explode out of control. We've totally fucked up the environment as well now, and that will only make matters worse.
At the end of the day we have no one to blame but ourselves. It is one planet. There is no backup. It is one world, one people, and even though we are of all different colors, beliefs and types, we are still at the very core, Brothers and the Family of Mankind, and should be caring and responsible for each other's welfare and survival.
We need a great big kick in the ass to come to that realization and acceptance it seems. I pray we all wake up before it is too late, but right now I don't see that anywhere close to happening.
