What's the big deal about the number of hits? He counts first page hits, so your ratio isn't gonna look as good as other affiliate programs. I'd rather know EXACTLY how many hits I'm sending him, even if my ratio is shit. If he counted second, third or fourth page, your ratios would be awesome.
When I send the exact same traffic to another sponsor I may get 300 uniques in a day and 2 sales. 1 in 150 ratio. Awesome. What they don't show you is you've sent 6000 visitors and THEY failed to move the surfer on to the second page. 1 in 3000 doesn't look too good.
