If they are going to kauai Poipu is good if they want the dry side of the island. Or if they are into golf they might wanna check out Princeville which is all retirees in gold carts. Or the town of Hanalei which is kind of a hippy town with health food stores etc but the the beach where the movie South Pacific was filmed is near there. I'm sure the've both seen that one...famous musical that old folks used to do get funky by.
