Adult gaming / interactive porn is a massive niche that is growing fast. I attempted to make an adult game review/free flash game site, but cannot gather motivation as porn is not my business. You will see it has not been updated since January
. I have been developing non-adult sites since the mid 90's, and I hope my detailed explanation of this domain will be helpful. I'm trying to be as honest and descriptive as possible because I truly have no desire to develop this site. Overture w/ext for 'adultgames.net' 25 (the highest i've seen for a month was 40. im fairly sure these arent return visits but due to domain popularity)
I know nothing about what to expect with regards to conversion ratios or rebill ratios for adult sites, but here's some data that I found amazing.
From launch, adultgames.net had 1 global backlink from goyk.com. This sends the vast majority of traffic, and is all that aids in our search engine rankings. When first launching, the site generated healthy signups from random visitors (from goyk.com), not targetted traffic from search engines.
Since launching 7 months ago, we held a #1 MSN ranknig on 'adult games' for most of this time. Recently we have dropped (again due to never updating the site, and only having 1 global link from goyk.com). Any qualified webmaster here could EASILY bring adultgames.net back to #1 on MSN.
We have bounced on Yahoo from #50 to #5 for 'adult games'.
The average profits after returns from ccbill.com affiliates (see the games we promote) are $200-$250.
