<a href="http://uscode.house.gov/DOWNLOAD/18C71.DOC">Federal Obscenity Laws</a>. Lots of boring reading if you are really interested and I'm sure you can dig up some more if you looked hard enough. The Federal Laws do not supercede the Constituion but they stand until someone challeneges it and takes it to the Supreme Court. I believe that one has already been to the Supreme Court several years ago and the ruling was not in our favor. It is true that our industry has benefited from the "benign neglect" of the Clinton/Reno Department of Justice in the area of Federal Obscenity Prosecutions.. but then again, they turned a blind eye to numerous violations of Federal Law.
