During a training class for an AS/400 word processing system, the instructor was bragging about how great its spell checking ability was.

As an example, she wrote "Please come to my office for a meating" -- and the system quickly pointed out the word "meating" was incorrect.

So I said "Well thats great, but what if the first letter of the word is also wrong? Change the "m" in "meating" to a "b" and see what it does...

so without thinking she wrote "Please come to my office for a beating"
