I seriously doubt that the charges that got someone 4.5 years stem from $70 in ccard fraud to CCBill. First, $70 is misdemeanor level and you cant get 4.5 years out of that amount unless there is some sort of sentencing enhancement for prior record. Sorta like the 3 strikes and your out type sentencing enhancement for habitual offenders.
More than likely this guy was involved in multiple counts of credit card fraud and CCBill was just one of the many victims. The State Attorney's office is just giving the victim (CCBill) the final boxscore as it relates to them.
