Even if I DID have to work the bar for an hour to sing for my supper.
Although, come to think of it, drinking profuse amounts of self poured liquor, harrassing guests into tipping more for the LOVELY young thing I was helping out, turning Jaeger Bombs into Jaeger Laybacks, taking "CuriousToyBoy Union Mandated Hug Breaks" with the aforementioned sweetie, smoking when I felt like it and generally taking the piss out of all and sundry..... hardly can I consider that work ;-)
Personally throwing the asshat out who thought it was clever to abuse young girls was also not work, it was a fucking pleasure.
But, 350 people and only ONE asshole (apart from me) .... damn fine numbers them.
Derek and I were one girl greening out away from an awesome start to the next day (it was FAR to late in the morning to consider it the end of a great night).
And I ended walking down the streets of Chicago at 6am, admiring the city, the scenery, the architecture, and the meth addicts and bums.
And wondering where the fuck I was.
Also MUCH better than the 2 gays bars Derek took me to on the Wednesday night with his college buddy Scott.
Oh, and Matt... that last night was fucking oiutrageous dude - we HAVE to do it again, and SOON.
Oh, and for once, I made my flight. Even on no sleep.
In short, GO NEXT YEAR. Altogether TOO much fun.
