Look,
the only interested part in this conflict to last as long as possible is Israel. It is obvious that they have the power on their side and they use the power to gain control over Palestine and Lebanon. They never liked the independence of Palestine and they need resources from Lebanon.
On the other hand US supports Israel with full hearth because this way they can get to Siria and Iran (which support Hezbollah). The master pupetteers are Iran and US here, don't get fooled.
