USA compared to Germany, France, Canada, and the UK on murder:

USA: Around 4.2802 per 100k are murdered.
Germany: Around 1.16461 per 100k are murdered.
France: Around 1.73272 per 100k are murdered.
UK: Around 1.40633 per 100k are murdered.
Canada: Around 1.49063 per 100k are murdered.

Hmmmmm.... you are only 2.7x more likely to be murdered in America than you are in Canada. =(
