He started the "hate syndrome" and people knee-jerked reacted to it. Why wouldn't they? I don't think America is a cesspool, in fact I'm going to turn 33 years old in August, I own (paid off the mortgage by the time I was 30) a rather nice house on Long Island, I have no trouble paying my bills, and I happen to live in one of the highest taxed areas in America, but it doesn't matter to me because I make more than enough money to support myself and have a very nice lifestyle. Yes, my quality of living is very good in fact. Now, why would anyone readily agree that their country is a cesspool if that's not their experience?
Now, if he had posted the message I wrote, with no hate, no malice to a system he couldn't thrive in, well...would he have gotten the reaction he had gotten? If he did, then I would completely agree with you, but since he didn't I can say that you turned your blinders on to how the hate ball started rolling  |
Good for you. There are plenty of people here that are rich. Its not impossible to live well here. I am saying its not worth the effort. Why should I work extra hard to make a broken system bear fruit for me? Its like a farmer planting your crop in the soil you know is only of marginal quality when you have another field next to you that you currently graze your sheep in (pun intended) that has soil of exceptional quality. Living in America is not making your assets work the hardest they can for you.
Its not my "failure to thrive" in this country that pisses me off. I dont like the way this country is run (I havent for some time. At first I was quiet about it, then I bitched, then I screamed and now I'm just ready to blow a gasket.) and I have grown to have an immense dislike, yes, a hatred, for the ignorance of the masses who continue to put some of these jokers back into office time and time again. I dont see the situation getting better.
I honestly dont even really care what anyone on here thinks about this subject. Those who want to wish me well may do so and thier well wishes are appreicated. Those who want to pray for my demise may also do so and they can go fuck themselves. Those who want to do something in between can do so and whatever. I'm not looking for community support or donations, so there is no need to polish up the post like I am seeking venture capital or something.
It was a spur of the moment post made after I just got done reading a fresh dose of the daily news which shows yet again how fucked our society here is.
