Ok another newbie question ...

I see alot of "Partnership" and "Affiliate" programs around ... Im not sure what either are, and what the differences are but does either one of these programs give me a site with content and then just let me promote it? Id like to start into this biz and i dont want to invest much at this point before learning more, figure id look for something like this.

sexrev.com offers something that gives me $35/signup, if they will pay me $35 for 1 signup, does that mean they charging a ton for memberships?

Or is there another way to break into this biz on a learning level without risking funds from the start?

I must sound very cheap at this point, lol ... just that i wasted alot of cash on design of my dvd site, and it isnt really going anywhere, i dont wanna make same mistake twice yet im still not ready to leave all together, lol
