Q: How can Israel fight Hezbollah without attacking Lebanon?
Yes, it is unfortunate that the "innocent Lebanese civilians" are being killed in this battle. Obviously this battle is going on between Israel and Hezbollah.
But here's the question of the day to everyone going crazy about the civilians, how can Israel and Hezbollah battle without Lebanon feeling the after effects? They can't, plain and simple. Hezbollah has made itself a part of Lebanon and the Lebanese government hasn't stopped them. Therefore, the only way Israel and Hezbollah can battle is by pounding the shit out of each other, which means Lebanon gets hit too.
I see it as being similar to this... Canada decides they don't like American Republicans (haha). They decide that the Republicans are terrorists and the Republicans decide the Canadians are assholes (or whatever) and they start fighting. Bombs, battles, missiles, the whole shabang. There is no possible way for Canada to fight the Republicans without the non-Republicans getting hurt as well. At that point the United States government would need to make a decision: go along with the Republicans and fight Canada, or denounce the Republicans and join Canada in wiping the Republicans out.
Hezbollah doesn't necessarily have a country of their own, but they are fighting and attacking out of Lebanon. Thats where they will be hit. Where else would they be attacked? Whether or not you think Israel is justified, where does one expect Israel to attack?
And now, let the name calling commence. :-)
