Oh yea we did all of that, used the new Fluke, bottom line was we had OSX file servers on a segmented network just for the Macs, which was so slow it was a joke, plus we could not keep the OSX file servers up with the load that we had.

We moved them into our Win2k active network on a Compaq cluster server, the difference was amazing all the issues went away.

The final straw was the end users blamed the network for not being able to do their work on time, once on the win2k that excuse was gone. Then they wanted new G4 at 3k a pop they all got 1k Dell's.

There production has never been better, they went form a 100 + Mac's to 2 left that are for type setting.

Bottom line is Mac's suck on a network, we tried everything to get them to work, what a waste of time.
