Having already met with Merkel prior to the G8, Georgie was trying the play cool guy yet again, and be an embarassment.
The reaction and body language says it all - get your friggin hands off me creep (but I'm trying to be nice saying it)
It was the same at other gatherings.... one at a press conference with several leaders. Irrespective who a question was addressed to or the question content - up steps Georgie to answer it first while other leaders stood back and looked at their shoes trying to wipe over the embarassment.
