Also, they block ALL ports that bit torrent runs on. SO even non torrent traffic using those ports is blocked.

They are throttling FTP connections, transfer a huge file? No way!. You get booted from that port just long enough to kill the connection.

Want to run an interface or server from your system to remote access your system or view files in a page you made to display them or have directory listings? NOPE.. Considered a server and threatened to be cut off. They literally cut my bandwidth down to dialup speeds once until I called them and they told me why. Was not allowed to run a script on port 80 (or any port) that allowed me remote access to my files.

And now this email shit.

FUCK them.

All those things they refuse to let customers do can be overcome by paying above what it's worth. Sure I could do a lot more if I had a biz account setup once I have my own internet access again, but it's all things I was able to do not that long ago. And event hen, they want anything you pay for to be associated to them in services you have to pay tons more for!

grrrr...

It's too bad they are the fasted net provider in the area.
