My doctor brought me a videotape in post-op, taken using the fiber camera that they use for conducting micro-surgery.

I especially liked the part where after drilling a hole completely through my ankle, he peeked in from the opposite side of the camera and waved - he knew that I have a twisted sense of humor and I would get a laugh out of that (he's not just my surgeon, we're tennis buddies too).
