Well the only really bad time is during the monsoons when the humidity is up and its all hazy outside. Aside from the summer months, the weather is perfect otherwise. Plus if I want to see green or snow in the winter time, I just drive up to the mountains outside of tucson. Thats also a good thing to do this time of the year to escape the summer heat.
What a lot of people dont know is Flagstaff, just 2 hours north of Phoenix has some of the lowest tempuratures in the country in the winter time because its so high in elevation. So Arizona has a good variety, its not just desert and heat.
