Who was more advanced in terms technology could be a matter of debate. They were probably similar and the Greeks may have benefited from knowledge filtered down from the earlier Egyptian empire. But as far as concrete influence is concerned, if it wasn't for the Greeks who knows if any of this would exist today.

I agree with you statement 100 percent but sometimes these things are just repeating in cycles through out different dominant civilizations....From the Wester point of view, Egypt was the main ones, then down to Greeks, Romans and now down to US....Are these things happening for better or for worst?? We really don't know but the progress we're making towards technology and like of are really not helping the society out too much.....if not, these technologies are actually entrapping us the people into a global prison systems....
