Depends on the laws of the sate or country.... Would make for an interesting discussion. I was able to walk away with my corporation untouched. Way before the divorce had a law firm arrange things. There was a buy/sell agreement etc. When she couldn't get to the company in the divorce proceedings, she went for Quantum Merit litigation. That suit failed to make it to trial.
