Do you have any idea how many of their own children (the Lebanese) they have been killing by putting guns in their hands and raising them to lives of violence and conflict... over what, a difference in religion? I heard many horror stories from Lebanese friends, two of them, a brother and sister, had to come to Canada because they watched their parents and siblings slaughtered in their own front yard, by their own Lebanese people over stupid political bullshit? Or the stories my old roommate told me (who was born and raised in Lebanon) about how they were encouraged as youths to go out and throw rocks and glass at passing tanks? He told me about his friends getting shot and watching them mutilated in front of him, and he fled the country himself when his OWN PEOPLE were killing his family members over a difference of political/religious opinion.
To be perfectly honest, what Israel has done is not even one hundreth as bad as what Lebanon has been doing to itself for.. well, let's face it, a millenia.
