Palestinians were basically screwed over by Britain to begin with, the land was a British colony.
So instead of keeping the jews in germany, european people decided to send them far away to what many jewish people think as their homeland. All the biblical tales take place around that area, so it made sense at that time.
The muslims around the area didn't seem to agree with the brilliant idea of the european council, and they decided that israel shouldn't be there. Kinda sucks for them since they can't organize themselves at throwing rocks much less doing any decent warfare. There were several armed conflicts involving israel during the past century with the jews coming out on top every time due to better organization and the support of the us.
So the modjaheds resort to blowing themselves up and doing some other utter nonsense in hopes of kicking the jews out. I doubt they'll succeed anytime soon.
