Fact: there are secret societies, such at the Freemasons, with a certain amount of economic power, but its piddly when you compare it to, say, Christian wealth on this planet.
Bullshit: that certain secret societies have merged, such as the Freemasons, and the Priory of Sion (which contrary to the Da Vinci Code, was only formed in the early '60s and perpetuated a fraud of epic proportions, claiming to exist thousands of years ago. pure nonsense). The Illuminati, at its height, numbered a mere 2,000 members.
Why do people think the Illuminati is still such a threat, or exists as a hidden monster out there with the intent on creating a 'new world order.'
Fact: freemasons have had a real influence on America. Well of course they have, many of the presidents were masons. Signs are all around us of masonic symbology, from the dollar bill, to the Pentagon, to the Washington monument, etc etc etc. But is that such a bad thing? Take a good look at what Freemasonry stands for. Its not an evil organization run by hoodwinking Jews like some anti-semites want you to believe. I think a lot of these secret societies are formed on the premise that the followers believe they have hidden knowlege, and knowlege is power. Its really another form of religious belief. But lets get a grip and not believe in such nonsense that Freemasonry or the Illuminati are controlling everything. Good god.
